How does Kettle & Fire achieve a long shelf life?Updated 2 years ago

We achieve our incredible shelf life through our process and our packaging.

Our Innovative Packaging Method

Kettle & Fire Bone Broth is simmered for a long period of time and packaged hot in an aseptic (germ-free) vacuumed-sealed package. This entire process ensures that there is nothing that can come into contact with the bone broth that can spoil it. We also line the inside of the packaging with a thin layer of heat-resistant polymer to ensure that no leaching or reaction occurs between the packaging and the bone broth itself, therefore maintaining the integrity of the bone broth. The carton remains vacuum sealed until you open it and that’s why it has a shelf life of up to two years without the use of preservatives or additives.

Our Packaging

The second component that’s equally important to achieving freshness and long shelf life, is our packaging. We use Tetra Pak packaging that keeps our products safe and fresh. Tetra Pak is environmentally friendly, and recyclable and sourced from sustainable and renewable resources.
