Actually, we would love to make our cartons easier to open. However, due to the limited packaging technology available, for us to make a shelf-stable bone broth that retains all of the health benefits, we cannot change the carton type at all, not even the size.
I recommend just using scissors to cut along the top and then store it in a mason jar if you are concerned about spilling.
Currently, our bone broth only comes in one size and we do not have any upcoming plans to add additional sizes.
Our new product production calendar is already scheduled for the next 6 months, sorry about that.
Sometimes, if improperly opened, the carton may be difficult to reseal. We did not want to add a plastic pour onto the carton in order to keep our environmental footprint as small as possible.
Some of our customers have told us that they actually transfer the content into glass jars after opening the carton, as this is a simpler way of storing the opened bone broth. If you have issues with resealing the carton after opening, you can store your bone broth like this.
