Quality is extremely important to us and it wouldn't make sense to us to make this wonderful bone broth and then put it in inferior packaging and risk contamination.
We use Tetra Pak packaging that's lined in polypropylene, which has been rated as the safest plastic there is.
Polypropylene containers do not leach harmful chemicals into foods or liquids. They are commonly used to package yogurt, drinks, ketchup and medicines.
Type 5 plastic (polypropylene) is flexible, hard and semi-transparent and has a high resistance to solvents, and since it safely stores ketchup, it is completely safe for storing our bone broth.
Our cartons are 100% BPA free and don't contain any other chemicals that might contaminate the bone broth.
Our bone broth is tested to make sure there is no chemical leaching.
We also test our bone broth for heavy metal contamination, the results have shown that metals, residues and lead in our products is <5 ppm.
We only use water that is put through a reverse osmosis filter. We have a very extensive and thorough testing processes and quality assurance.
