Our beef bones are sourced from family-run farms that are 100% certified grass-fed and grass-finished. Our farmers also follow organic practices — focusing on promoting the health and welfare of their animals, their pastures, and their environment, although they are not always 100% organic certified. We are constantly working to find consistent supplies of bones that have both certifications but it is not very common, therefore we have decided to focus on the grass-fed and grass-finished certification.
This means that our cattle roam in wide-open spaces, with lots of clean pasture, fresh air, and clean drinking water. They are also allowed to exhibit natural behaviors such as ranging, foraging, rooting and grooming. Our farmers follow strict pasture management procedures and ensure that the health and welfare of the animals and pastures are maintained. All of this results in cattle are that are happy, healthy and strong, resulting in meat and bones that are packed full of goodness.
